Main Purpose of Job

This position functions as the Healthcare Training and Systems Specialist and is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of the hospital’s learning management using Google Workspace tools. Duties include, but are not limited to: configuring, managing, troubleshooting technical issues, and generating reports and collaborating with the CRO, DLR Director, Nursing Instructors and subject matter experts to ensure smooth and effective learning experience of hospital staff during onboarding and ongoing education. The Healthcare Training and Systems Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining accessible training materials and workflow tracking systems tailored to the operational needs of a healthcare facility.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and six years of health or human services administrative or professional experience, including three years at a supervisory or managerial level.

A Master's degree will substitute for one year of the general experience and a Doctorate will substitute for two years of the general experience. Additional experience will substitute on a year-for-year basis for the college degree.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The desired candidate should possess the following:
  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare support, training, or operations role
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Drive, and Calendar)
  • Experience developing training content or user guides, preferably in a healthcare environment
  • Understanding of healthcare workflow, terminology, and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA), familiarity with TJC
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users, work with cross-functional teams, including clinical, administrative, and IT personnel
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Google Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio), Tableau, or Power BI
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and present data clearly
  • Certification in Lean Sigma
