Introduction
This is a position specific recruitment for the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, Chesapeake and Coastal Watershed. This recruitment will be used to fill current vacancies for the position and may be used to fill future vacancies in the same classification/function. Future vacancies may also be filled via other recruitments. The resulting eligible list will be maintained for one year.

Main Purpose of Job
The Department of Natural Resources, Chesapeake and Coastal Service in Annapolis is currently accepting applications for a Program Manager III.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Five years of professional experience managing projects and teams which address environmental, coastal or natural resource conservation, restoration or management topics. Two years of experience must include managing staff.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience directing natural resource management programs that includes coordination with internal programs and federal, state, local, non-profit and private sector interests
- Experience developing, managing and evaluating the performance of outcome driven watershed-based restoration and climate resilience programs.
- Supervising staff who manage the funding and/or implementation of restoration projects
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland.
