POSITION DUTIES

The IT department within the Comptroller of Maryland is hiring! If you are a self-motivated accounting professional looking for an impactful role in a growing organization – then we have a job for you. We are looking for a highly-motivated, resourceful, technical thinker to join our team. This position will be responsible for providing timely and accurate financial information to support business decisions. This is a hands-on position and the ability to multitask and work with others is essential. The individual must demonstrate strong analytical skills with superior attention to detail.

PLEASE NOTE: Resumes will not be accepted in lieu of a completed application. Also, ITD is responsible for the 24x7x365 support for ADC mainframe, distributed systems, and networks.  All ITD employees are available for on-call support.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Possession of a degree in accounting or related field to include information technology from an accredited college or university.

Experience: Three (3) years of experience working in the field performing one or more of the following: accounting, finance, or budgeting.

** For education obtained outside of the U.S., you will be required to provide proof of the equivalent American education as determined by a foreign credential evaluation service. If you possess a degree obtained outside of the United States, please submit a detailed, course-by-course evaluation report from one of the U.S. equivalency evaluating members identified at http://naces.org/members/
