Main Purpose of Job
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must satisfy the minimum
qualifications to be considered for this position and move forward in the

Education: Graduation
from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency
certificate.
Experience:
Two years of administrative staff or professional work.
Notes:
1.
Candidates may substitute 30 credit hours from an accredited college or
university for one year of the required experience.
2.
Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelor's degree from a
college or university for the required experience.
3.
Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a
commissioned officer involving staff work that included regular use of
independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting complex
administrative plans, policies, rules or regulations or analysis of operational
programs or procedures with recommendations for improvement on a year-for-year
basis for the required experience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Lead or supervisory experience including supervising employees and overseeing project workflows.
- Proficiency in data management and reporting, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Oracle databases, and preparing comprehensive reports.
- Experience in environmental permitting and compliance, including the processing of permits and organizing responses to public comments or inquiries.
- Administrative and communication skills, encompassing the preparation of correspondence, management of supply and travel requisitions, and experience with SharePoint or webpage management.

SELECTION PROCESS

on the eligible (employment) list for at least one year.

PERSONAL LEAVE - New State employees
are awarded six (6) personal leave days annually (prorated based on start
date).
ANNUAL LEAVE - ten (10) days of
accumulated annual leave per year.
SICK LEAVE – fifteen (15) days of
accumulated sick leave per year.
PARENTAL LEAVE – up to sixty (60) days
of paid parental leave upon the birth or adoption of a child.
HOLIDAYS – State employees
also celebrate at least twelve (12) holidays per year.
