The Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services (DPSCS) is seeking dedicated candidates to fill important roles within our department. LOCATION OF POSITION
POSITION DUTIES
The main
purpose of this position is to provide specialized administrative and
secretarial support to the Regional Director and Assistant Regional Director
for South Region Community Supervision. This position requires the incumbent to
demonstrate sound judgment with regard to work-day occurrences.
- Type all correspondence as directed.
- Develop work methods/ procedures and carry assignments to completion with a minimum amount of direction or instruction.
- Use word processing, power point, spreadsheets and peripheral equipment to assemble, compile and summarize data and information to complete a variety of reports.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 Years of professional work experience drafting memos on behalf of a manager or director.
- Professional experience working in a Police, Correctional, or related Public Safety Sector.
