LOCATION OF POSITION
Main Purpose of Job
POSITION DUTIES
Assists DBM leadership
and senior DBM staff in the establishment of strategic and operational goals. Develops and implements processes, standards,
and operational plans to assist in meeting strategic and operational goals.
Coordinates and
assists in the preparation of pre-decisional briefing materials and documents,
public testimony, and correspondence.
Represents the Chief
of Staff and Executive Leadership in meetings and participates on ad hoc committees
and works collaboratively with DBM and external agency staff on a variety of
initiatives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Six years of professional work experience, including
demonstrated project management experience;
or
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or
university and two years of professional work experience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong organizational skills.
Project management skills.
Familiarity with the legislative process on a national,
state, or local level.
Ability to thoroughly identify, research, analyze, and
address a wide variety of issues and problems in a high-intensity setting.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Ability to gather data, compile information, prepare
reports, and prioritize and perform complex tasks on multiple projects.

American education as determined by a foreign credential evaluation service
must be provided prior to hire.

least one year. The resulting certified eligible list for this
recruitment may be used for similar positions in this or other State agencies.
