Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this full-time position will be to serve as a Production Control Specialist II for jobs submission to the Annapolis Data Center (ADC) for further process. This position will back up weekly, daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports to cd's create labels, mail out\distribute to programs. This position will also maintain a daily log of cartridges being processed, as well as preparing cartridges for off site storage. In addition, this position will breakdown and deliver all Medicaid and Non-Medicaid reports to various programs throughout MDH in 201 W. Preston St. Building.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:  Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.

Experience:  Two years of experience scheduling or setting up data processing jobs for production, controlling data input and output or maintaining a tape library for multipurpose, multi-tasking computers.

Notes:

1. Candidates may substitute experience operating computer equipment for the purpose of data entry, word processing or maintaining information or performing clerical work involving reconciliation of data on a year-for-year basis for the required education.

2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer in Computer Clerk and Assistant classifications or Computer Clerk and Assistant specialty codes in the General, Administrative, Clerical, and Office Services field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The desired candidate should possess:
  • Experience navigating a PC;
  • Experience utilizing Gmail.
