POSITION DUTIES
- Serve as the front desk security officer
- Provide clerical support
- Answer multi-line phone
- Use the facility's intercom system in order to page staff and call codes when necessary
- Sort mail
- use the raptor system in order to scan ID's and create visitor passes
- Use knowledge in security safety in order to provide safety, protection and security for the facility
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Ability to read and write.
Experience: Two years of experience in building security work.
Note: Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer in Master-At-Arms classifications or law enforcement specialty codes in the site security field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Employees in this classification are subject to call 24 hours a day and, therefore, will be required to provide the employer with a telephone number where they can be reached.
2. Employees in this classification are subject to substance abuse testing in accordance with Code of Maryland Regulations 06.01.09, Testing for Illegal Use of Drugs.
