Main Purpose of Job
This is a professional level position requiring program development, instruction and delivery of a Work Readiness program designed to assist individuals with disabilities in learning appropriate work behaviors and attitudes while participating in job shadowing and career exploration activities.
POSITION DUTIES
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience: Professional experience in a behavioral or social science related filed is preferred.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience facilitating group instruction and interacting with consumers in a group setting.
Experience with career counseling, employment preparation and case management.
Experience in the VR and/or Human Services related field.
Professional experience working with individuals with disabilities.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must consent to State Police Investigation (fingerprinting) as a routine procedure for all employees in this classification.
