Main Purpose of Job
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Three years of supervisory or managerial experience in financial services.
NOTE: Experience working in financial services, in a supervisory or managerial capacity, may be substituted on a year-for -year basis for the required education
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience working with F.M.I.S (Financial Management Information System), to include R*STARS, ADPICS and View Direct.
2. Experience working with the State's SPS system, specifically Workday.
3. Experience with financial audits.
4. Knowledge of the State of Maryland's financial operations and procedures.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Candidates for positions in this classification are subject to a complete criminal background investigation to include a polygraph examination before permanent appointment can be made. A criminal conviction may be grounds for rejection of the candidate.

Successful candidates will be placed on the Eligible List categorized as BEST, BETTER or QUALIFIED and remain eligible for consideration for at least one year from the date of examination. The list will be used by the hiring manager to select employees.
