LOCATION OF POSITION
MDH/Carroll County Health Department, Crisis Services Unit, Westminster, Maryland
Main Purpose of Job
This position will promote recovery by serving as a guide for people seeking recovery, especially those who are linked with the Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD) programs or who have been referred, via LEAD trained officers. This position will also assist to remove barriers to recovery by providing linkages to the recovery community and other resources, as needed. Finally, this position will offer direct experience and be person-centered, with a focus on building recovery capital and supporting change talk.
This position is meant to support and enhance The LEAD Transition Plan and Behavioral Health Treatment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The desired candidate should possess familiarity and/or experience with the criminal justice system and recovery resources.
