LOCATION OF POSITION
Baltimore City

Main Purpose of Job
POSITION DUTIES
Performance of work planning, integration, and maintenance of software and hardware for local or wide area computer networks.
Installation, deployment and customization as required.
Providing user support (break/fix).
Installation of applications software and customization as required
Maintenance of critical software for user support (anti-virus, encryption, software, etc.).
Training of users in software and hardware.
Installation and maintenance of network hardware such as printers, scanners or other networked devices.
Work is performed in normal office settings and at users’ work sites. When at users’ sites, the work may involve exposure to electrical wires and outlets. Safety procedures must be strictly followed.
The work may require moving computers weighing up to 40 pounds.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Students must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate junior or senior in a four-year college or university with a major in Information Technology or a related field.
Students must be able to commit to a minimum of eight hours per week (two half-days).
