Main Purpose of Job

The IT Assistant Director will plan, organize, and direct all aspects of the Information Technology Department for the Office of Health Care Quality.  This includes management of network operations, maintenance of all systems, hardware and software procurement, telecommunication, and audio /visual equipment to ensure optimal functionality in the department. This position also directly supervises IT staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Possession of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 4 years of professional IT experience, preferably in a health or human services environment, that must have included major project management responsibility.  A Master’s degree will substitute for one year of the required experience.

SELECTION PROCESS

 This is a Management Service position, and serves at the pleasure of the Appointing Authority.  A resume must accompany your application.
