Main Purpose of Job

The position serves as the Procurement Officer for the Finan and Brandenburg Centers. The main purpose of this position is to implement procurement services to ensure availability of services, supplies, and equipment in an efficient and effective manner to facilitate the provision of services to all patients admitted.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduation from a standard high school or possession of a State high school equivalence certificate.

Experience: Six years of experience in receiving, storing, issuing, purchasing and requisitioning supplies, materials, and equipment, four-years of which must have included experience at the supervisory or management level or must have involved the final responsibility for purchasing and requisitioning.

Notes: Applicants may substitute education at an accredited college or university at the rate of 30 semester hours for one year of experience for up to one year of the required general experience.
