LOCATION OF POSITION

Main Purpose of Job
Under the supervision of the Program Coordinator of the Community Case Management Program (CCMP), this position provides counseling and wrap around case management services to the CCM Program clients according to their needs and the Drug Treatment Court Program requirements. These services are provided to enable enrolled clients the opportunity to stop drug and alcohol use and afford them the opportunity to develop a more productive lifestyle.
Education: Determined by the Maryland State Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists under the requirements for Certified Associate Counselors-Alcohol and Drug.
Experience: Determined by the Maryland State Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists under the certification requirements for Certified Associate Counselors-Alcohol and Drug.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate should have experience working with Drug Treatment Courts. Prefer experience working with co-occurring individuals. The selected candidate may be required to work one late evening per/week.
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
1. In accordance with Health Occupations Title 17 and Code of Maryland Regulations 10.58.07, candidates must be certified by the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists as a Certified Associate Counselor-Alcohol and Drug. **Please attach your current licensure with your application.**
2. Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.
Employees in this classification are subject to substance abuse testing in accordance with Code of Maryland Regulations 17.04.09, Testing for Illegal Use of Drugs.
