LOCATION OF POSITION
Main Purpose of Job
Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Provide leadership and management of the Office of Human Resources to achieve the efficient and effective delivery of services to all customers and stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain all quality standards associated with the professional delivery of personnel services while striving for error free work products.
- Provide the highest level of customer satisfaction, actively seeking feedback from customers/stakeholders on customer satisfaction and proactively acts to enhance or adjust the delivery of services to achieve and improve customer satisfaction.
- Lead, manage, coordinate and/or oversee major tasks, events, or requirements associated with the Administration Unit-Timekeeping, Health Benefits, Employee/Employer Relations, Position control, Payroll and Leave Bank.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required.
Experience: Five (5) years of professional human resources experience including 2 years of supervisory experience in a merit system human resources program. The range of experience includes:
Payroll Administration and Timekeeping
Employee & Labor Relations
Note: Applicants substitute four (4) years of professional personnel management experience for the Bachelor’s degree. Professional personnel work can be in the area of employee/employer relations, labor management relations, personnel program evaluation, interpreting policies and procedures, statutes and regulations.
