Main Purpose of Job
The main purpose of this licensed position will be to assist the Program Manager and Behavioral Health Administration in providing specific administrative, budgetary and monitoring for staff direction to the Road to Recovery programs across the three clinics and the Well-mobile. This assistant program managerial level of work includes review of the day-to-day operations; designs and periodically updates operational manual to respond and align with the changes in priorities and mandates; and together with the Program Manager guides the implementation of the Medication Assisted Treatment programs across clinics serving patients diagnosed with Opiate Use Disorder. This position will also take the lead interpreting the trend of admissions and outcomes across clinics and submits findings to the Program Manager, and together strategize continuing improvement of program operations.
Education: Possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in nursing, social work, psychology, education, counseling, or a related field.
Experience: Six years professional experience in health services, three of which must have been in professional work related to treatment and services to persons with alcohol or other substance addiction, and three of which must have been at the managerial or supervisory level.
Notes: 1. Applicants may substitute a master’s or Doctoral degree in a health or human services field for up to two years of the required general experience.
2. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in another field plus an additional year of professional experience in health services may be substituted for the specific degree.
3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Health Care Administration classifications or Health Services Administration specialty codes in the health related field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The desired candidate should possess a license as an RN, LCPC, LCADC or LCSW-C. The desired candidate should be experienced in providing program leadership and clinical guidance for a substance use treatment program and familiarity with methadone maintenance practices and other medications in the treatment of opiate addiction.
