Crownsville Veterans Cemetery 1122 Sunrise Beach Road Crownsville, MD 21032
Main Purpose of Job
This position is the full performance level of work in providing maintenance , securing buildings and cemetery grounds, housekeeping and general services for state buildings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: None.
Experience: None.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in grounds and/or buildings maintenance.
Experience with small power tool use, lawn mowers and trimmers.
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Employees appointed to positions in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle.
Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Employees in this classification may be subject to call-in 24 hours a day and, therefore, may be required to provide the employing agency with a telephone number where they can be reached.
SELECTION PROCESS
Successful candidates will be ranked as Best Qualified, Better Qualified, or Qualified and placed on the employment (eligible) list for at least one year.
