Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this position is to function as a Program Case Manager and the Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional (QDDP) for the SETT program units.  Responsibilities include case management and coordinator responsibilities for approximately 32 individuals with forensic involvement who are committed to the Maryland Department of Health SETT program.  The Program Case Manager/QDDP coordinates, develops and monitors individual plans for approximately 32 residents at a time and ensures compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations and the DDA's mission.


Education: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields: counseling, education, nursing, occupational physical therapy, psychology, social work, sociology, speech pathology or audiology, therapeutic recreation or a related human services field.

Experience: One year of experience providing professional services to the developmentally disabled.

Note: Education and experience requirements are established in Health Care Financing Administration Regulations Chapter IV, Title 42, 442.401 and 483.430 and Interpretive Guidelines.


Persons appointed to positions in this classification may be required to successfully complete training and maintain current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
