Online Course Facilitators (Early Childhood and K-12)

The Education Department at Maryland Public Television is accepting applications for Online Course Facilitators (Early Childhood and K-12) on a continuing basis to build an applicant pool for anticipated position vacancies. These positions will be filled as needed and are contingent on available funding. Applications will remain active and on file for one year following receipt and will be considered as openings occur.

Responsible for facilitating online courses offered through MPT. Facilitators will support course participants through online course tools, asynchronous discussions, and specific strategies for online facilitation. They will also develop an understanding of key implementation issues such as access, Universal Design for Learning and evaluation.

Candidates will have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Education or other related field and a minimum of two years teaching and/or curriculum development experience. Online course facilitation experience desired.
