NATURE OF WORK

Level for senior attorney who has five years of experience before the Bar and who has been an Assistant Attorney General for at least one year. A level to promote to from grade 19 when five years of experience at the Bar has been attained and when a higher level of competency has been demonstrated, in conduction with a merit review.

This is the highest level at which a senior attorney may be compensated without broad supervisory responsibilities.

EXAMPLES OF WORK

Assigned the more difficult and complex legal matters. Assists in the training of less experienced attorneys. Requires little supervision as a high degree of competence has been demonstrated. An attorney at this level is considered a senior level litigator.
