Salary Information
Compensation plans are based on a multi-step progression system. The pay range reflects the entry level and maximum salary potential in the assigned pay grade.
**A starting salary may be negotiated and will be commensurate with education, training and experience in alignment with pay administration policies**
Nature of Work
The
fundamental reason this classification exists is to assist the Revenue Branch
Supervisor in a variety of functions and complete tasks related to the
collection of ad valorem tax. The work
responsibilities are: performing administrative duties; maintaining inventory of manufactured home
decals, supplies and records; performing customer functions; performing supervisory
duties of employees engaged in the collection of ad valorem taxes; and verifying
accuracy of tax forms daily. Employees
within this classification report to the Revenue Branch Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
High
school diploma or GED and two (2) years of experience in the collection of ad
valorem taxes.
NOTE: Qualifying education, training and experience that
provide the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job will
be considered.
Special Requirements
Willingness
to work overtime and to travel out of the county to attend classes, training
seminars, workshops and etc.
