Job Description

We're looking for world-class instructors with the motivation to connect our communities through programming and exceptional learning experiences. PRCS serves a diverse population including but not limited to youth, adults, special needs and seniors at our parks, community centers and recreation centers, indoor and outdoor pools, senior centers, sports, and athletic fields.

PRCS is looking for Instructors who are knowledgeable and able to teach a subject such as:

  • Sports
  • Group Exercise
  • Personal Training
  • Aquatics & Swim Lessons

As an Instructor, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Obtaining and maintaining relevant certification
  • Training and upskill required to instruct classes in the specified subject
  • Prioritizing the health, safety, and company service standards to all our external and internal customers
  • Developing programs with modifications for beginning to advance levels of client needs and abilities
  • Promoting a professional cross-team environment and participating in staff meeting/events

Salary based on multiple factors including class and skill level, technical expertise of instructor, and current market

Job Requirements

Previous experience and/or preparation in a field of instruction; program planning and learning styles for a target audience

Special Requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Nationally accredited certification, licensing and/or relevant training in specified subject
  • Six months experience instructing and planning specialized programming for a diverse population (youth, adaptive and/or seniors)

Post Conditional Offer Contingencies

Pass background check prior to hiring and obtain a First Aid/CPR certification within 90 days.

Specific field of instructions may require an active certification prior to hiring.
