We're currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Recreation Center Manager. Under the general direction of the designated supervisor, oversees and manages operations of all aspects of a Recreation and Community Center including a licensed preschool, a competition pool that hosts large swim meets, a leisure pool, a fitness room, a gymnasium, community rooms, and outdoor areas. This position will promote a culture that values employees and the general public and provides leadership and development to staff. A successful candidate is an effective communicator with experience and training in leadership, team and professional development, and progressive experience in facility management and aquatics experience. PRCS serves a diverse population including but not limited to youth, adults, individuals with disabilities, and seniors.

Work hours are weekdays and weekends between 5:00 am-10:00 pm including some holidays.

Salary commensurate with experience
Bachelor's degree in Leisure Service, Athletic Administration, or a related field depending on assigned area and four (4) years related work experience in program and facility management working with the public, groups, and organizations including one (1) year of supervisory experience managing a recreational program/center and staff and Six (6) months of experience supervising children during recreational or educational activities if required by Virginia's state licensing for a specific assigned position, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
