Job Description

The Loudoun County's Treasurer Office is currently seeking highly qualified applicants for the Lead Information Services Assistant. The Treasurer's office has a mission to serve the residents of Loudoun County by educating, advising, and disseminating information in a courteous, accurate, and efficient manner. The position's primary location is the Sterling office, but will travel to the Leesburg office location on occasion.

This position is responsible for direct interaction with residents through a call center environment, email, U.S. Mail, and in person. Specifically, this position will assist with resident inquiries to include general tax information, tax billing and payments, tax deadlines as well as other general County information. This position will serve as a back-up to the Information Services Manager and their duties. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication and customer service skills, experienced in 10-key, demonstrate the knowledge and ability of cash handling, including balancing and reconciling, be detailed oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Office. This position will be responsible for assisting the Information Services Manager with supervision of Information Services staff and must possess management and leadership skills to evaluate work performance while maintaining confidentiality. Must be able to multi-task and promote a positive team environment while working in a high paced call center environment.

Salary commensurate with experience.

Job Requirements

Associate's degree or equivalent; three (3) years of cash handling work experience with computer systems; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Special Requirements

Normal working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30AM to 5:00PM with mandatory overtime during tax deadlines.
