We are seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Maintenance Technician II. Under the general direction of the designated supervisor, performs indoor and outdoor maintenance duties for the County. This position conducts preventative maintenance; operates and repairs equipment, tools, and vehicles; performs groundskeeping and applies special turf care; prepares fields for athletic games; responds to weather events and facility emergencies and conducts snow removal.
To be successful, a candidate must be able to communicate ideas effectively, solve problems, and build good relationships with staff, contractors, and the public. PRCS serves a diverse population including but not limited to youth, adults, individuals with disabilities, and seniors.

Work hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00am - 2:30pm and is subject to call for essential 24-hour operations

Salary commensurate with experience
High school diploma or equivalent, preferably with coursework in semi-skilled carpentry, basic trades, or landscaping based on assigned area and two (2) years of related work experience in grounds maintenance inclusive of some level of performance in a supervisory capacity; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
