PRCS- Creating Community through People, Parks and Programs
Loudoun County's Department of Parks, Recreation & Community Services is currently seeking qualified applicants for regular, substitute, and rover After School (CASA) Supervisor positions with the County After School Activities (CASA) program. CASA is a highly respected afterschool program serving Loudoun County's elementary aged youth for over 30 years.CASA embraces the uniqueness of each child, inclusive of all individual abilities or needs. Regular and substitute positions are available at various sites in Loudoun County and flexible scheduling is available. Applicants interested in the rover position must be willing to work at any CASA site which is subject to change by day. After School CASA Supervisors assist in the planning and implementation of recreational activities such as indoor and outdoor games, arts and crafts, holiday themed and special projects, as well as quieter activities like snacks and homework time for children in grades K-5. After School CASA Supervisors also supervise other CASA staff, including Leaders and Aides. Salary commensurate with experience.
Please include all applicable paid or volunteer experience working with and/or supervising children in a childcare, recreation, or educational setting. The CASA program operates Monday-Friday, 2:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m., following the Loudoun County's school year calendar.
