Job Description

We have an immediate opening for Custodian/Maintenance Workers. A successful candidate will provide excellent customer service and have general knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment, occupational hazards, and safety precautions. PRCS serves a diverse population including but not limited to youth, adults, special needs, and seniors.

We are currently hiring for Custodian/Maintenance Workers at the following locations:

  • The Lodge at Hal & Berni Hanson Regional Park, Aldie VA
  • Dulles South Recreation and Community Center, Chantilly VA

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prioritizing the health, safety, and company service standards to all our external and internal customers
  • Assist with room set-up/take down for activities and special events
  • Indoor and outdoor housekeeping, trash, and debris removal
  • Operation of outdoor ground maintenance equipment
  • Inventory and storing supplies
  • Daily inspections and safety checks
  • Assist with emergency response and snow/ice removal

*Schedule vary by location, and special events, primarily between the times of 5:00am to 12:00am*

Job Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent; prefer six (6) months of housekeeping experience in a customer facing position; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid driver's license required.

Special Requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Certification in First Aid / CPR

Virginia State Driver's License

Successful candidate will undergo criminal background, child protective services checks and DMV record checks.
