Then this could be the position you've been looking for. PRCS is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to join our growing Human Resources team in the Leesburg office to support our large and diverse department in its growth.

As Recruiting Coordinator, you will serve an integral role in helping to build PRCS' biggest asset - it's talented professionals. Under the general supervision of the PRCS HR Manager, this position will develop a formal PRCS recruitment process, establish standards, develop and deliver staff training, and track and monitor the process as well as outcomes. The Coordinator will work with hiring managers to assess department hiring needs and incorporate innovative approaches and tools to attract talent pools and potential candidates.

Additional job duties include:

  • Oversee the recruiting function for the department, especially for key positions including high volume and hard to fill positions
  • Develop relationships, partnerships and outreach to recruiting resources to generate ongoing pool of quality applicants
  • Coordinate, staff and attend various job fairs, career and internship events within the County and as a representative for non-County events
  • Screen and interview potential candidates for referral
  • Develop processes and procedures; train and guide department supervisors on County/PRCS recruitment and selection best practices
  • Work with internal staff and external agencies including social media sites to promote PRCS recruitment and hiring needs

HIRING RANGE: $53,347-$72,018.45

Salary Commensurate with Experience

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; one (1) year of related work experience in the assigned area; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Effective public speaking and presentation skills required
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, and experience with computer automated systems and Microsoft Office

Special Requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three (3) years of related work experience recruiting for non-exempt and exempt staff
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking systems (ATS) preferred
  • Job board experience (i.e. Monster, Careerbuilder, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.)
  • Society for Human Resources (SHRM) Certified Professional or Sr Professional, or related Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) certification preferred
  • Certified Recruiting Specialist (CRS); Certified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP); or related recruiting, public speaking or training certifications
