Loudoun County Fire and Rescue is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, Recruitment and Retention Specialist position working 40 hours a week.
The successful applicant should have knowledge of a fire and rescue combination system, volunteer operations, procedures, and training. The successful candidate will work a flexible schedule to address their duties to include: Recruit fire and rescue volunteers, in both operational and administrative roles. Develop and implement recognition programs for volunteers and their contributions to the County. Ensure volunteers have all the resources they need to be successful in their roles including training. Manage volunteer records and personnel interactions. Assist with training coworkers in the volunteer companies on recruiting and retention techniques; explains program policies and procedures. Establishes performance expectations and goals for the volunteer recruitment and retention team; leads team with activities and plans to accomplish goals. Develop annual volunteer staff development and training program; track volunteer staff completion of required County learning requirements; and reviews volunteer certification requirements and CEU completion to maintain certifications.
Hiring range $24.67-$33.31
