Loudoun County's Department of Parks, Recreation, and Community Services is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Childcare Supervisor at the Bluemont Community Center.
The Childcare Supervisor is responsible for the supervision, organization, and management of the program. Duties include supervising and ensuring the safety of children, scheduling and supervision of staff, and following county and state licensing policies and regulations.
-Plan and implement activities for children.
-Organize and manage facility; conduct an inventory of equipment and order supplies when needed.
-Coordinate and supervise off-site activities.
-Maintain helpful and professional communication with parents, site personnel, and staff.
-Facilitate outdoor play and special events.

-Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field; six (6) months of program experience supervising children; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Must be at least 21 years of age.
-Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
-First Aid and CPR certification preferred
-Supervisory experience preferred
Post Conditional Offer Contingencies
-Pass pre-employment fingerprinting and Child Protective Services (CPS) background checks.
-Hold or obtain First Aid (Infant through Adult)/CPR certifications within 30 days of hire.
-Pass TB test within 30 days of hire and each year thereafter
- Pass OSHA (Bloodborne pathogens) training within 30 days of hire
-Medication Administration Training (MAT) within 90 days of hire.
-Must annually complete a sworn disclosure statement or affirmation disclosing any criminal convictions or pending criminal charges.
