Job Description

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is seeking qualified applicants for a Quartermaster Clerk position located in the Administrative and Technical Services Division. The successful candidate will have general knowledge of principles, methods and practices of supply, inventory control and automated record keeping systems to include Microsoft Word and Excel, data entry and database management.

Duties include ordering, replenishing, receiving, stocking, and issuing uniforms and law enforcement equipment; receiving on purchase orders using the County's Oracle system. Maintains records of all items ordered; conducts a yearly inventory of all items in stock; updates automated inventory system to ensure supply on hand matches what system has on file; ensures the inventory indicates an accurate assignment of property to employees both sworn and civilian; and properly disposes all equipment no longer usable for service. Applicant must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to deal with difficult situations and manage multiple priorities while working in a team setting and/or independently as needed.

HIRING RANGE: $40,512.33 - $54,691.64, commensurate with experience.

The FLSA designation for this position is non-exempt.

Job Requirements

Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma and two (2) years job related experience.

Special Requirements

Must be able to lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
