FACILITY SUPERVISOR

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who have good communication skills. We have immediate openings for part-time facility supervisor positions, available at various sites and facilities throughout Loudoun County within our Senior Centers, Community Centers, Recreation Centers, Banshee Reeks nature preserve, and Parks and Sports divisions.

Ideal candidates will utilize strong customer service skills to:

• Perform site opening and closing
• Provide supervision for participants and spectators
• Oversee volunteers at various site
• Schedule facility rentals
• Assist with site specific projects
• Assist with special events
• Assist with facility set up/clean up before and after events

Choose assignments from a list of scheduled times and locations to meet your needs. Assignment hours vary by location and division and are primarily evenings and weekends-to help you work around your college, work or family commitments. In addition to a flexible schedule, facility supervisors are eligible to receive bonuses, are given paid training, and valuable work experience. Please include all applicable paid or volunteer experience working with the public, and/or overseeing a facility or site.

High School diploma or equivalent; depending on assignment six months experience supervising children during recreational or educational activities may be required. 

In some programs, for temporary positions only, completion of 10th grade is required and positions may be filled at the grade 104 level.

Salary Commensurate with Experience

Candidates will be required to complete a criminal background check and may include child protective services (CPS) check when positions include working with children. First Aid, CPR for adult, infant and child, required within 30 days of hire. Some programs require certification prior to beginning work and negative TB test prior to beginning work
