Loudoun County Public Library is offering passionate, innovative, community-oriented leaders with public library management experience the opportunity to become the Division Manager of Branch Services. The Division Manager of Branch Services will oversee all libraries in the LCPL system, supervise all branch managers, cultivate high staff morale, play a leadership role in strategic planning/implementation, and serve as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team.

The successful candidate will be a strong leader; develop effective relationships with Library leadership, staff and the community; ensure optimal operations of every branch; be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and stay aware of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in public library services. A passion for exceptional customer service, a commitment to staff empowerment and development, and a demonstrated history of visionary leadership that encourages innovation and problem-solving are paramount for success. This position will report to the Deputy Director of LCPL.

HIRING RANGE: $77,732.01-$108,824.82

Salary Commensurate with Experience

Requires a Master's degree in Business, Public Administration or area related to assigned department; four (4) years of related, progressively responsible administrative, professional, operational, and/or managerial work experience and including three (3) years in a supervisory or management role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Prefer prior experience supervising numerous library locations that are geographically spread out. Prefer prior experience in multiple aspects of library branch operations such as community engagement, program implementation, and collection management.

Successful candidate will undergo criminal, credit and DMV background checks.
