The Loudoun County Department of Family Services is seeking a strong communicator and collaborator to lead a team of Information and Referral Specialists. The I&R Program also serves as Coordinated Entry for Homeless Services. Responsibilities include:
As the leader of Information and Referral/Assistance Services the Program Manager builds relationships, and collaborates with team members to make a difference in our customers lives by ensuring that they receive the right information at the right time.
Education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Administration or a related Human Services field and four (4) years of directly related professional work experience which includes providing intake services to clients, family members, or others to obtain information or services in a Social/Human Services setting to include one (1) year staff supervisory experience.
A successful candidate will have experience working in information and referral (I&R); homeless services; proficient with database applications for I & R systems; knowledgeable of community resources, systems and requirements for assistance, and experience working in support of people with diverse educational, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds; excellent customer service skills; and an ability to work effectively with staff and external contacts to build and maintain successful teams.
