Loudoun County, Virginia, one of the fastest-growing counties in the nation, is currently seeking applicants for the position of Project Management Engineer II in the Land Development Engineering Division of the Department of Building and Development. The Engineer II reviews engineering applications such as Construction Plans and Profiles, Site Plans and Site Plan Amendments, to ensure compliance with County, State, & Federal regulations through written correspondence with applicants; delivers accurate and timely information to the public, occasionally on-site or at HOA meetings, and addresses citizen complaints. Candidates must have a comprehensive knowledge of Loudoun County's Facilities Standards Manual, pavement design, construction project management, civil engineering project cost estimates, surveying, utility plans, field inspections, and the review of as-built drawings to assure compliance with approved plans. Successful candidates must possess excellent written and verbal skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a four-year college or university accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technologies; two (2) years of progressively responsible work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Hiring Range: $60,103.87- $82,642.82
Salary Commensurate with Experience
An Engineer-In-Training (EIT) license in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and Loudoun County, is preferred. Candidate must hold a valid driver's license.
