 PRCS- Creating Community through People, Parks and Programs

Are you interested in working in an aquatic environment? Do you enjoy the energy of working with young people? Would you like a summer job that is fun and rewarding? Then become part of the Department of Parks, Recreation & Community Services Summer Pool crew. We are seeking applicants for part-time Summer Pool Managers. Positions are available beginning in May 2021 and running through September 2021 at the Franklin Park pool in Purcellville and the Lovettsville Community Center pool. As a Summer Pool Manager your leadership skills will be put to use supervising and managing an outdoor pool.

This includes:

• Enforcing policies and regulations with patrons and staff
• Establishing staff scheduling, reviewing timecards, attending and leading staff meetings to ensure communication and information sharing and instructing in-service trainings

The work schedule varies and will include morning, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma and at least four years related work experience.

Prior to beginning work, must have:

• Loudoun County Pool Operator's License
• Red Cross Lifeguard Certification including First Aid and CPR

Criminal background check required.
