Job Description

The Loudoun County Department of General Services is currently seeking qualified applicants to fill a 20 hour per week part-time Purchasing Administrative Assistant vacancy within the Management Support Services Division. The successful candidate will assist the department's procurement team in processing requisitions and change order requests; demonstrate a high level of accuracy entering data in a computerized purchasing and accounting system; work between multiple databases in a fast-paced environment; and provide courteous and timely customer service. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, researching and obtaining vendor quotes.

Job Requirements

Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma and at least four (4) years of directly related experience in purchasing, business, accounting, or other related field. Prefer at least six (6) months of government purchasing experience in processing requisitions, change order requests, and experience with computerized purchasing and accounting systems. Direct experience working with Oracle Purchasing System is preferred. Working knowledge of MS Office and email is required.

Special Requirements

A valid driver's license is required.
