The Loudoun County Department of Economic Development has an immediate opening for a creative, digital storyteller to serve as the Marketing Program Manager. Loudoun has a diverse and thriving economy, and this professional will lead our digital outreach efforts with the local business community and targeted business prospects. Job Requirements

Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Master’s degree with major coursework in communications, public relations or a related field, plus 2 years’ experience in website management, content marketing, or related programs.

If applicable, please highlight experience or certifications in digital advertising, digital analytics tools, video editing and lead generation software.

Special Requirements

This position requires a strategic thinker with the ability to conduct communications and marketing initiatives in support of the department's mission. The ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and meet critical deadlines is required. Must have strong advisory and communication skills as well as the ability to adjust to a variety of situations including communication with top CEOs, top governmental officials, and citizens. Early morning, evening and weekend work is required for special events and meetings. Travel, as required.
