Loudoun County’s Parks, Recreation and Community Services is seeking applicants for part-time Summer Pool Managers. Are you interested in working in an aquatic environment? Then #JoinTheFunWithPRCS and become part of the Department of Parks, Recreation & Community Services Summer Pool crew. We have positions available beginning in May 2019 and running through September 2019 at the Franklin Park pool in Purcellville and the Lovettsville Community Center pool. As a Summer Pool Manager your leadership skills will be put to use supervising and managing an outdoor pool. This includes enforcing policies and regulations with patrons and staff, establishing staff scheduling, reviewing timesheets, attending and leading staff meetings to ensure communication and information sharing and instructing in-service trainings. The work schedule varies and will include morning, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma and at least four years related work experience.
Prior to beginning work, must have:
- Loudoun County Pool Operator's License
- Red Cross Lifeguard Certification including First Aid and CPR
