Job Description

The Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Developmental Services is seeking qualified applicants for a temporary, part-time Day Support Specialist.

Position requires working with physically and/or intellectually disabled adults in a Community Access Program in Loudoun County.

Responsibilities include providing assistance and training with daily living activities, emphasizing community integration, individual preference and facilitation of new experiences.

Job Requirements

  • Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Vocational or Special Education
  • Must have a valid driver's license

Special Requirements


  • Minimum 6 months experience in a related developmental services program or setting
  • General knowledge of licensure standards and relevant Medicaid Waiver regulations
