The Loudoun County, Virginia Department of Economic Development is looking for an energetic and creative business developer to manage our Small Business and Entrepreneurship program. Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Master’s degree in Communications, Business Administration or associated field and demonstrate 2 years direct work experience. Progressively responsible work experience at a level that required supervision or management of related projects and programs is not required but desirable.
This position requires a strategic thinker with the ability to build coalitions and create programming in support of the department's mission. The ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and meet critical deadlines is required. Must have strong advisory and communication skills as well as the ability to adjust to a variety of situations including communication with CEOs, governmental officials, and citizens.
