The core work hours for the Children’s Board Conference Center Coordinator after the initial orientation are the following:

Monday – Thursday – 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Saturday – 7:30 am – 3:30 pm

Tell us about the experience that you have in organizing and leading special events including answering telephones, greeting guests, providing information on the venue, handing customer requests, making and recording reservations and providing event reports.  


The Conference Center Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that the conference rooms are set up and broken down in accordance with a daily schedule. This requires the ability to move tables and chairs. Are you able to lift 50 pounds?

The Conference Center Coordinator will be required to provide administration for all reservations in the Children's Board Conference Center. This includes answering reservation inquiries, preparing reservations file, providing tours to potential customers, assisting with the set up of the room and ensuring that the meeting space is set up to the customer's specifications. The Children's Board Conference Center Coordinator may greet each group at the start of the meeting, event or conference. Please describe the top three to five items that you would cover with each group introduction.


The Children's Board Conference Center Coordinator is responsible for handling essential services including, reception, mail, archiving, security, cleaning, recycling and routine building maintenance.
