JOB OVERVIEW

Supervises a team of at least 3 employees in any of a large variety of departments and agencies, with responsibility for monitoring work processes and ensuring quality and quantity goals are met. Incumbents in this classification performs the duties of the function and performs first line supervisory field work.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor's degree; and
One year of experience directly related to the position duties.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

  • Determines priorities, schedules and assigns work as required.

  • Assists in the review and development of routine procedures to insure timely and accurate accomplishment of established operational goals.
  • Supervises and trains assigned staff, evaluates performance and initiates corrective action as needed.
  • Assesses staffing needs and assists in the recruitment of staff.
  • Maintains required documentation and completes reports.
  • Attends meetings as required.
  • Participates in performing the actual work of the unit and substitutes for subordinates as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
