Performs entry level data assessment, data management, and project support. Provides assistance with technical support for information systems. Assists with managing technology projects in accordance with established project management methodology. Works under close to moderate supervision. Problems faced are of moderate difficulty but not usually not complex.
Associates Degree from an accredited college or university with a major an information technology or related field as it applies to the position and one (1) year of experience analyzing, testing, troubleshooting, supporting systems OR any equivalent combination of education (not less than possession of a high school diploma/GED) , training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job.
Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Frequently sitting at a desk or table, standing and/or walking, as well as in-town travel to multiple locations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Works with technical team members on the preparation of flow charts, models, and procedures and conducting feasibility studies to design system solutions.
Analyzes solutions using established technology standards to develop multi-platform hardware/software solutions aligned with business processes to enhance business capabilities, based on customer requirements.
Conducts troubleshooting for software and hardware, preventative maintenance, patching and upgrades for software systems.
Creates clear and detailed technical specifications and other technical reports (i.e., SQL script modification and maintenance).
Works with technical team members on the development and implementation of data collection systems and data analysis procedures.
Assists technical management staff to refine business rules and develop efficiencies, solutions, and alternative processes to improve data management and quality among enterprise wide databases.

EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
In the event of an emergency or disaster, an employee may be required to respond promptly to duties and responsibilities as assigned by the employee’s department, the County’s Office of Emergency Management, or County Administration. Such assignments may be for before, during or after the emergency/disaster.
