Public Relations/Info Specialist (#PRINSPGENH) GENH
$12.66-$20.11 Hourly / $2,194.40-$3,485.73 Monthly / $26,332.80-$41,828.80 Yearly


Performs informational and referral duties to assist the public in locating and/or accessing various services provided by the County and other community agencies


Graduation from a high school or possession of a GED Certificate; and
Two years of experience in a public contact capacity.

Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-related competencies noted below.

  • Provides information about various functions and services offered by County departments and agencies.
  • Maintains files and records pertaining to services and programs; catalogues and crossreferences brochures, pamphlets, and other informational material to ensure access and availability.
  • Participates in planning and conducting tours and presentations for civic, governmental and other interested groups to provide information regarding county programs and services.
  • Participates in the recruitment, screening and training of volunteers and student interns.
  • Compiles data and assists in preparing statistical analyses and reports.
  • Participates in the preparation and publication of various manuals, reports, pamphlets marketing materials and brochures to be used when conducting tours, presentations and to provide information regarding county programs and services for civic, governmental and other interested parties.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
