JOB OVERVIEW

As a Human Resources Solutions Specialist, you will represent and work in partnership with the staff of HR Trust, an extended services division of the Civil Service Board of Hillsborough County. The Human Resources Solutions Specialist will be responsible for attracting new clients and achieving sales goals set by management.  The Human Resources Solutions Specialist will develop strong relationships and exceed client expectations regarding the expertise, comprehensive knowledge, and resources available used to fulfill clients’ HR needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Business, Human Resources, Public Administration, or a closely-related field; and
Three years of experience analyzing HR and business practices and developing sound business solutions; and
One or more of the following HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, IPMA-CP, IPMA-SCP)

OR

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, or relevant field; and
Five years of experience analyzing HR and business practices and developing sound business solutions; and
Must obtain one or more of the following HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, IPMA-CP, IPMA-SCP) within the first 18 months of hire.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

  • The Human Resources Solutions Specialist will combine his/her expertise in Human Resources with practical business advice and solutions in order to provide the client time to focus on their core business operations.
  • Assists in enhancing and protecting client operations and business practices by providing guidance, professional advice and recommendations; and will act as an ally in supporting their business goals. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, self-initiated individual to work in all areas of HR and find creative solutions to clients’ problems.
  • Brings in new clients through a variety of active marketing campaigns and participates in outreach efforts designed to attract new business. 
  • Formulates comprehensive business development plans and strategies pertaining to developing and improving client relations. 
  • Meets with assigned clients and performing initial assessments of clients’ HR needs 
    Collects data and information regarding clients’ business operations through the use of interviews, surveys, workforce data and other methods. 
  • Builds understanding of the client’s strategy and goals and translates those goals into actionable HR objectives in support of the business strategy. 
  • Acts as a professional advisor on key HR areas (Talent Acquisition and Retention, Training and Development, Health and Wellness/Benefits, Compensation and Classification, Workplace Relationships and Culture, etc.). 
  • Executes the core in-house HR offerings. 
  • Conducts research to find applicable resources to augment the clients’ organization. 
  • Works with HR partners as a liaison to execute value-added HR service offerings. 
  • Assists in the implementation of new initiatives. 
  • Organizes and implements assigned business projects on behalf of clients. 
  • Analyzes, interprets and reports on data collected. 
  • Assists clients with developing and communicating policies, practices, to employees. 
  • Ensures clients’ business practices are in accordance with HR policies and national, state and local laws and regulations. 
  • Helps clients integrate new processes, practices or programs into their daily operations. 
  • Provides on-going consultation, guidance and support for any related HR needs. 
  • Tracks all client activity on company’s CRM system in a timely manner. 
  • Participates in activities to drive sales and improve service delivery. 
  • Conducting formal reviews and analysis on the key HR areas of the organization on an annual basis. 
  • Performs other related duties as required.
