JOB OVERVIEW

Performs duties serving meals and maintaining cleanliness of food service areas and equipment at County Nutrition Centers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Completion of the ninth grade.

Or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-related competencies noted below.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

  • Serves meals to program participants at Nutrition Centers.
  • Assembles meal trays, including special diet trays, for home delivery.
  • Sets up dining area to provide meal services to participants of the nutrition program.
  • Clears and cleans tables in dining area and replenishes condiments.
  • Washes dishes, utensils and equipment and stores items for next use.
  • Performs general custodial duties in area assigned.
  • Prepares and maintains records, reports, and charts.
  • Delivers meals to client's homes as required.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
