Equipment Fabrication Supervisor (#EQFBSVGENM) GENM
$17.23-$27.35 Hourly / $2,986.53-$4,740.67 Monthly / $35,838.40-$56,888.00 Yearly


Performs supervisory and highly skilled duties in the fabrication and repair of equipment and component hardware.


Graduation from high school or possession of a GED Certificate; and
Three years of experience in duties involving both metal-welding and metal fabrication; including
One year of experience as a team leader or supervisor; and
Possession of a valid Driver's License.

  • Considerable knowledge of materials and tools used to repair, fabricate, design and layout various types of equipment and components.
  • Considerable knowledge of safety requirements pertaining to gas, arc and mig welding.
  • Skill in operating welding and torch equipment.

  • Supervises the work of subordinate staff by scheduling, assigning and reviewing work, providing training and counseling and evaluating performance.
  • Designs and lays out various welding and metal working tasks and supervises personnel engaged in the completion of these tasks.
  • Evaluates equipment requirements and develops sketches and drawings, in conjunction with using agency, to fabricate or repair equipment.
  • Performs complex fabrication activities requiring highly skilled welding and metal working knowledge.
  • Ensures that all equipment and supplies are utilized in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Controls supplies and materials used in the fabrication or repair of equipment.
  • Prepares and maintains all project records and reports.
  • Operates motor vehicles of varying types and sizes.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
