Performs duties providing functional expertise, support, and guidance to users, and lower-level functional support analysts, in the integration and maintenance of Enterprise Business Solutions (EBS).


A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computers/Information Technology, or related field; and
Two years of experience in systems analysis using the specific business system application; and
Four years of experience in the functional related business department.

  • Provides functional expertise, support, and guidance for a broad range of application issues.
  • Troubleshoots complex or elevated issues and collaborates with technical support staff to develop, test, and implement solutions.
  • Analyzes and defines the scope of system problems; determines the practices needed to solve recurring application problems and functional gaps; and proposes interim work-arounds, updates, corrections, or required software enhancements.
  • Creates, edits, analyzes, and maintains cross module queries, data, and reports for end users.
  • Creates and maintains setup documentation for applications, and configuration and core setup tables in applications.
  • Creates functional specifications for change requests, as necessary; and participates in the change request process by documenting, testing and certifying changes to applications.
  • Establishes, enforces and maintains security, configuration, and setup tables in applications.
  • Convenes, organizes, and participates in collaborative meetings, conference calls, and video conferences, consisting of applicable lower-level functional support analysts, vendors, inter-local government agencies, or technical support staff.
  • Prepares training materials, instructs training, and distributes updates of education information and communication to users, business units, and lower-level functional support analysts.
  • Serves as liaison and point of contact for vendors, inter-local government agencies, and business units, as needed.
  • Provides direction and guidance to lower-level analysts, as needed.
  • Performs other related duties, as needed.
